The short version
CEU Manager is a completely free community service. We do not charge subscription fees, sell personal information, or use personal information for targeted advertising. We use information to provide accounts, license lookup, CEU tracking, organizer tools, support, security, and required communications.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide, including your name, email address, license number, license type, and password hash.
- Course records you save, including Course ID, title, sponsor, date, location, and approved-hour categories.
- Organizer submissions, including course details and the organizer contact name and email.
- Public professional-license information obtained from the California DPR public license directory, such as license type, status dates, name, and county.
- Technical information needed for security and reliability, such as IP address, browser type, request time, login attempts, and error logs.
How we use information
We use this information to verify registrations, authenticate accounts, maintain CEU records, produce DPR renewal summaries, create event links and QR assets, review organizer-submitted courses, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and improve site reliability.
Cookies and local device storage
WordPress uses essential cookies for sign-in, security, preferences, and session continuity. The installable-app feature may store public design files on your device for faster loading. It does not cache your private dashboard or CEU records for offline access. We do not use cross-site behavioral advertising.
When information is shared
We may use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, security, backups, and privacy-friendly traffic measurement. They may process information only as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of an organizational transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Public information and course verification
Professional-license directory information is sourced from public DPR records. Public organizer course listings are labeled as organizer-submitted unless a MyAgLife administrator verifies them. MyAgLife verification is not DPR approval or endorsement.
Retention and security
Account and CEU records are kept while your account remains active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain backups, and meet legal obligations. Organizer submissions and verification history may be retained to protect the integrity of Course IDs. We use HTTPS, access controls, rate limits, password hashing, and security monitoring, but no Internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may review and correct most account information in your profile. You may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with your account, subject to identity verification and any information we must retain for security or legal reasons. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is no sale or advertising-sharing opt-out to process. We do not track your activity across unrelated websites in response to browser Do Not Track signals.
Children
CEU Manager is intended for professional license and certificate holders and is not directed to children under 13.
